La Casa nelle Terre di Mezzo is located in Sicily, in the Valle de Halesa, between the two natural parks of Nebrodi and Madonie, immersed in a secular olive grove.
You will be welcomed by the hosts, who since 2017 have decided to share their cherished place, a refuge for the soul.
The small country house, which in the second half of the 19th century was intended to accommodate the farm steward and his animals, has been converted into a charming, timeless place, perfect for spending holidays in absolute relaxation. The restoration, designed by the owners, is deliberately conservative; entering it feels like stepping into the imaginary world everyone envisions of a journey to Sicily in times gone by.
The care in every detail and the inimitable, original, and refined furnishings make this place unique. The stone cottage is surrounded by lush Mediterranean vegetation, which frames the pool overlooking the splendid valley.
OUR SPACES
Casa nelle Terre di Mezzo is a 95sqm stone cottage immersed in nature and surrounded by a secular olive grove.
It can accommodate up to 4 adults and an infant.
In the main building, there are two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower.
The winter garden, which overlooks the garden and the valley, houses the living area with comfortable sofas, a wood-burning fireplace, and a TV area.
Outside, there is an outdoor kitchen with a stove and barbecue, and a dining area under the patio by the pool, perfect for enjoying convivial moments outdoors.
The winter garden creates a charming atmosphere even in the colder months, allowing you to stay connected with nature while spending time reading and listening to music by the fireplace, with views of the valley and the ancient villages of Pettineo and Tusa.
The house is located within the “Fiumara d’Arte” monumental artistic itinerary and is exactly halfway between the famous sculptures Piramide and Labirinto d’Arianna.
